What was the moment that sparked your project?

The spark came from a casual conversation with a friend who pointed out a very ordinary but unresolved problem we all encounter in daily life. At first, it stayed just as an idea. But when we began talking about it as a team, something changed. Each of us started viewing the problem through our own lens: design, machines, logic, questioning assumptions, and even humor.

During one long, unplanned discussion, we realized we weren't trying to force a solution. Nature already had one. That's when biomimicry entered the conversation. We asked a simple question: if nature can solve this using just sun, rain, and air, why can't we?

That moment — when the problem, our diverse strengths, and nature's simplicity aligned — was when we said, okay, this isn't just an idea anymore.

What impact do you hope to see in 10 years?

Ten years from now, sustainability will no longer feel like an extra effort. It will feel natural, invisible, and integrated into everyday life.

People will benefit from systems that quietly work with the environment instead of fighting it. Sun, rain, and air will no longer be seen as unpredictable forces, but as reliable partners. The real impact we want to see is a mindset shift. Innovation will stop chasing complexity for the sake of novelty and start valuing simplicity inspired by nature.

How has the GSC shaped your thinking or your team?

Our experience at GSC has been both grounding and transformative. The challenge is pushing us to slow down and really interrogate our idea — not just from a 'does it work' perspective, but from a 'does it matter' one. Being selected for the regional finals in February 2026 has further reinforced our commitment. GSC is teaching us that sustainability is not just about solutions. It is about responsibility, intent, and long-term thinking.

What makes your team or project truly remarkable?

All of us are Inventors from InventX 2025 conducted by Makers Bhavan, and that journey has made us more than just teammates. We are best friends who deeply understand each other's strengths, weaknesses, and working styles. That mutual awareness allows us to communicate honestly, challenge ideas without ego, and step in wherever support is needed.
