Suvranil is the Managing Director and CEO for GDI South Asia. He led the launch of the GDI South Asia entity in 2023. He also leads the global GDI Climate Adaptation/Resilience portfolio, including Resilient Water Accelerator (RWA) and Grassroots Circular Waste Collaborative (GCWC). His experience includes leading climate-resilient initiatives (across mitigation and adaptation) at IFC/World Bank. Suvranil has expertise in leading and managing engagements with governments, the private sector, start-ups, investors, and non-profits in India, Southeast Asia, Africa, the USA, and Europe. Suvranil has a Bachelor’s in Engineering and a Master’s in Public Policy from Harvard Kennedy School. He is a founding member of Harvard Climate Entrepreneurship Circle.
