Gao Jihui is a Professor at the School of Energy Science and Engineering, Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT). He earned his bachelor's degree in Thermal Energy Engineering from HIT and has remained at the university throughout his academic career, progressing through the ranks from Teaching Assistant to Full Professor. Professor Gao's research focuses on collaborative control of coal-fired flue gas pollutants and the development of carbon-based functional materials for energy storage applications. He has led numerous national research projects, including five Ministry of Science and Technology initiatives and over ten National Natural Science Foundation grants. His outstanding contributions have been recognized with two National Technology Invention Awards and three provincial/ministerial-level science and technology awards. Professor Gao has also made significant achievements in innovation and entrepreneurship education, currently serving as a committee member of the Ministry of Education's Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education Guidance Committee and Director of HIT's Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education Committee.
