Suresh Kumar Puri

Dr. S. K. PURI is Ph.D. in organic chemistry from Panjab University Chandigarh. He joined IOC, R&D Centre in 1987 and has 26 years of rich and varied experience in Research & Development with a special interest in synthesis and development of Fuel & Lube additives, development of biofuels for their use in transport and aviation sector and marker systems to control menace of adulteration of prime fuels. Dr. S. K. Puri has to his credit, more than ten US/IN patents. He has also published over 35 research papers in professional journals. Dr S.K. Puri has also guided two students for their Ph D Degree and at present one student is also perusing his PhD work at IIP Dehradun /IOC, R&D Centre Faridabad. Dr S. K. Puri is a recipient of following national awards: - Golden Peacock Eco-Innovation Award – Lubricity Improver for Diesel - Golden Peacock Eco-Innovation Award –Lube Marker system for adulteration checks - Golden Peacock Eco-Innovation Award – Development of Diesel MFA - PertoFed Innovator award for 2008 – Development & Commercialization of Diesel Multifunctional Additive - National award for Successful commercialization of indigenous technology- 2010. After superannuating from IOCL as Chief General Manager ( Bio-energy ) in 2019 , undersigned worked as chief Coordinator for Bioenergy Research Centre up to March 2023. Currently I am working with A M Green India Pvt Ltd as Advisor , R&D , Green Chemicals .
