Wang Zhongshu is a Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at Jilin University, where he serves as Director of the Jilin Provincial Automotive Energy and Power Engineering Laboratory. Recognized as a leading talent in Jilin's "Changbai Yingcai Program" and Jilin University's Tang Aoqing Leading Professor, he earned his B.E., M.S., and Ph.D. all in Thermal Energy and Power Engineering from Jilin University (1996-2006), complemented by academic research at Brunel University, UK (2015-2016). His research focuses on carbon-neutral vehicle power systems, specializing in ammonia cracking for hydrogen production, hydrogen combustion technology, and unconventional emission control. Professor Wang has led numerous national and industry projects, including NSFC grants and major technological collaborations with FAW Group, Weichai Power, and Chang'an Auto, receiving several prestigious awards including the National Commercial Science and Technology Progress First Prize.
