She is a Professor and Doctoral Supervisor who served as Vice Dean of the School of Energy Science and Engineering at Central South University from 2010 to 2018. She earned her B.E. from Wuhan Institute of Chemical Technology in 1985, followed by an M.S. from Central South University in 1991 and a Ph.D. from the same institution in 2002. Her academic career began as a Lecturer at Central South University in 1991, where she progressed to Associate Professor and later to Full Professor in 2003. She further enriched her expertise as a Visiting Scholar at Purdue University Calumet in the United States from 2008 to 2009. Her research focuses on numerical simulation and optimization of metallurgical thermal processes, energy conservation in process industries, and intelligent detection of thermal parameters. With over 40 research projects, including National 973 and 863 Programs, she has published more than 100 papers and authored 7 books, receiving multiple provincial awards and 10 authorized invention patents.
